- How are billable hours calculated?
- Multiply the hours on each task by its hourly rate, then add the line totals. This tool does that for every line and gives you the grand total.
- Can different tasks have different rates?
- Yes. Each line has its own rate, so you can mix, for example, design at one rate and consulting at another.
- Can I export the result?
- Yes, download a CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets, ready to attach to an invoice.
- Why are the hours shown as decimals?
- A rate is charged per hour, so the hours have to be a decimal before you multiply. 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.5, and 7.5 times $75 is $562.50.
